Origin
The legend of the Devil living in the cellar was started in 1891 to keep thieves away from Don Melchor's best wines, survives in the name: the Devil's Cellar. Fruit from the Rapel valley's Riverbench and benchland soils were 100% aged in American oak for eight months.
Taste
A full-flavoured Shiraz delivering aromas of blackberries, chocolate, pepper and vanilla on the nose, joined by ripe plums on the rich, spicy palate. Soft, yet firm tannins give the wine structure.
Enjoy
Drink over the next three years with roast meat dishes, especially Lamb and beef.

    Nice and smooth

    Have had this wine before and was impressed by it's smooth deep finish. Also it's very expensive elsewhere!
