The best non-French fizz - not just for cocktails!
Easily the best sub-£10 sparkling wine I've had. What's more, it tastes better than most sub-£30 champagnes.
Dry, but not too acidic and without the nasty, stale after-taste you can often get from cheap (and some not-so-cheap) champagne. Quite a full finish - very toasty and extremely pleasant.
A slightly rusty/copper colour adds a little fun and frolic too. If we were get married again, I'd gladly serve this to the guests instead of an average champagne - if only as a slap in the face to any wine-snobs.
