Origin
Yering Station was Victoria's first vineyard, originally planted in 1838. Winemaker Tom Carson has gained international acclaim for his wines from the cool climate in the Yarra Valley. A style that is particularly Australian, a fruit driven style yet exuding class.
Taste
Black cherry and plum aromas, hints of spice and white florals, with an intense, full and rich palate of black and red berries, kirsch and wood spices with a warm and lingering spicy finish.
Enjoy
Ready to drink now but will gain intensity and complexity with 3-5 years age. Enjoy with game birds, roast poultry or schnitzel.
