Great wine with or without food - taste's expensive!
We've chosen this for the white wine at our wedding, and I'm so pleased with it. We were working to a £5 a bottle budget and tried about 8 bottles before this and was just coming to the decision that you do in fact need to spend more on a good white (we found a good red for £5 quite easily), when I bought this. It's flavoursome, yet melts away on your tongue with no aftertaste. I also would normally steer well clear from a chardonnay but this has just the perfect balance of easy drinking and flavour - so for me has that expensive taste. No we can buy more wine for our guests!!
