Grape

Syrah or Shiraz, Tinto Cao, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional

Origin
Made from a blend of traditional Port grapes, but fermented to dryness along with the addition of 35% Syrah, this 'second wine' of the highly regarded Quinta do Noval, is a quintessentially Portuguese offering. Roundness and structure come from French oak.
Taste
Spicy, full-bodied and crammed with intense black fruit, the wine also shows great smoothness from ageing in French oak barrels, and has lifted floral aromas on the nose.
Enjoy
Match with hearty spicy pork dishes or casserole, and enjoy over the following 5-7 years.
