Tempranillo

Origin
A youthful Crianza wine made from 100% Tempranillo, from 10-15-year-old vines around Cenicero in the heart of Rioja. Aged for 12 months in American oak barrels and a further 12 months in bottle before release.
Taste
Vibrant cherry red, with a nose dominated by raspberry and strawberry fruit and lashings of lifted oaky vanilla notes. The palate is supple and soft, with moderate tannins and an easy-going feel. Scroll down to view our short video tasting.

Supremely versatile, this can be drunk on its own or paired with cured meats, pork chops, and all Mediterranean cuisine.

    Nowhere near as good as the one from last year!

    The staff did warn me but I had to at least try some as last year's reserve was so amazing! Strong berry flavour but if you were hoping for complex look elsewhere.
