Description

Made by winemaker Peter Sisseck,who is also responsible for Pingus, one of the region's most legendary wines. This is a blend of 80% Tinto Fino with 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot, grown on a superb south-facing vineyard, with the limestone and clay soils that suit these varieties. Around 14 months in 30-50% new French Allier oak barrels completes the smooth, opulent style. Drink now or over the next 5-8 years.

    "Peter Sissack, of Ribera del Duero's legendary Pingus estate, is the winemaker behind this extremely classy, multi-layered modern Spanish red. With high-toned ripe fruit, very smooth tannins, and a certain voluptuous quality, it's dense and deep, but will most certainly develop over time. Rating: 94/100 Goes with: Red meat & Dark game."
