Lovely distinctive fruity white
I'm usually much more of a red wine drinker, but this variety was recommended to me recently, and having given it a try, i can see why.
This has a subtle nose of orchard fruit with floral notes. On the palate it is medium bodied, full of soft fruit, flavours of apple and comice pear, with just enough low to medium citrus acidity to make it food friendly, plenty of mineral notes giving a slight spritz, and a refreshing finish. It is fruit driven, but not heavy and not oaked, so this is pure and vibrant and meant for drinking young and fresh. I had some with Thai red chicken curry and it was an excellent match.
