Castello Banfi are one of the key players in Tuscany, owning some 2400 hectares of vines and making the most (and some of the best) Brunello in the region. This Pinot Grigio is a leap in quality above many of the more neutral styles made in Italy.
Taste
San Angelo Pinot Grigio is an elegant wine of pale-straw color, with intense, stone-fruit aromas and a zippy melon and pear finish.
Enjoy
The concentrated fruit character and a rich but still refreshing finish, light fish dishes and salads will work well.

    Great summer PG

    A great summer Pinot Grigio to drink even without food. Was surprised how light and easy to drink this one was. Not too fruity or acidic. A good balance and fantastic value.
