Grape

Syrah or Shiraz

Origin
Rapel Valley has grown to more than 31,000 hectares, the majority of which grow red grapes. It is split into the two zones of Colchagua and Cachapoal and is regarded as the largest quality appellation in Chile.
Taste
Soft aromas of raspberries and blackberries, as well as a hint of spice leads to a palate of juicy fruit. Well structured with a balanced acidity.
Enjoy
This is an excellent apéritif or a match for cold cuts and stuffed pasta.

    A little heavy

If you are looking for a light drink on a summer day, this is NOT the wine for you. Very heavy for a rose and acidic enough so that half a bottle is making your mouth regret it. No real summer berry fruit expected from a good rose.. better can be had for the same price.

  • "Day-glo vino with a properly butch rosé flavour, made from Shiraz grapes. This really is a wine to be drunk by weightlifters. In terms of which superhero it is, it's Hellboy - powerful and bright red."
