The Cave du Château de Chénas was founded in 1934 by 44 producers with 44 hectares of land. They now have 110 producers with 250 hectares of land. Their use of modern winemaking equipment gives them total control from vine to the bottle.
Taste
Deep purple with a nose of ripe red cherries and soft, ripe tannins on the palate. From the smallest Beaujolais cru this wine shows good body combined with crisp, balanced acidity.
