Description

It is hard to describe the intensity of this wine. Gorgeously rich and decadent aromas of lychee, exotic fruits and buttered brioche escape from the glass. While the palate is full bodied, concentrated and luscious it has a delicate freshness which prevents it from being heavy. This is a wine of amazing quality and finesse and one you will remember long after its gone.

"A remarkable wine from vines that are not far short off their 70th birthday. Sumptuous and rich in texture, but at the same time beautifully fresh and intense, with apples, pears, apricots and a touch of orange. A fabulously rich wine for which, admittedly, it helps to be fabulously rich, unless someone else is paying. Put it on your Christmas list. It's on ours.
