Origin
Burgundy's 'other' white grape variety, Aligoté, is currently having something of a revival. Always exhibiting a racy acidity, the finest example are of great quality. Aligoté is the wine traditionally mixed with blackcurrant liqueur to make Kir.
Taste
A nutty chestnut aroma together with citrus overtones and herbal notes. A racy, mineral palate reveals remarkable richness and refreshing drive, marking out its true quality.
