The 2005s from this domaine really are terrific wine with a richness, depth and bright acidity only found in top years. On the nose there are notes of hazelnuts, toasty new oak, brioche and noney. The palate is ripe and sophisticated with real intensity and layer after layer of rich oily flavour. This is a tightly wound wine brought into context by fresh acids and intelligent use of expensive oak. Drink it over the next 10 years.
