Gevrey-Chambertin wines are typically deeper in colour and firmer than their rivals from Vosne-Romanée and Chambolle-Musigny. Good examples may take time to develop into perhaps the most complete wines of the Côte d'Or.
Taste
This wine has powerful aromas of berry, leather and musk which will develop into liquorice and truffles with age. With fresh acidity and super-fine tannins it is balanced and harmonious on the palate.
Enjoy
Pinot Noir goes with an array of dishes but enjoy this with roast lamb or cured ham.
