Origin
Sénéjac is one of the better known Crus Bourgeois of the Haut-Médoc. The wine is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc and is aged in oak barriques for 18 months. It represents great value for fans of mature claret as it ages so gracefully.
Taste
A great middleweight claret, offering a restrained nose of blackcurrant fruit tinged with hints of clove and cigar tobacco. The palate is nicely ripe, with a liquorice complexity and a smooth texture.
Enjoy
Drink over the next couple of years with cold meats or lamb shanks.

Well balance, full bodied, full flavour Bordeaux.

Appearance: clear but very dark, some sediment due to Cabernet grape. Nose: Pleasant & rich. Oak, vanilla and ripe dark fruit (black currant, cassis). Some herbs, tobacco. Palate: medium acidity, perception of soft tannins, taste of dark ripe fruit. Long finish. Perfect balance, very well made wine. Has aging potential.
