Well, chacun a son gout ! So far, one adores it, the other throws it down the sink. I'm in between. It's not nasty, but too "frizzy" for me so I won't be buying any more.

I bought four bottles of this wine because I had previously enjoyed a muscadet I bought from Majestic. It is the first time I have ever poured wine down the sink. It was acidic and totally lacking in body. I gave a bottle to my sister and her husband who drink wine with there meal every evening. They agreed with my assessment. I have one bottle left which I intend returning to the store. Perhaps someone can use it to cook with.

Okay so I've grown up thinking that muscadet should be consigned to the bin with German wine, sherry and sparkling that isnt champagne. How wrong can you be.... Once again I am mistaken and very happy to be in this fortunate position. Luckily our man in High Wycombe gave us the heads up that it retains a tiny amount of fizz due to the manufacturing process (hence Lie) otherwise the mini mousse would mean a swift return. As a fan of PF/Sancerre and wanting an accompanyment to wild mussels it makes sense to choose a wine grown at the mouth of the Loire (or is this just silly?) We drank this as an aperifit, slightly chilled and were stunned by just how good it was! The food just transforming the slight acidity, a little less than the aforementioned bringing out the taste of each. I'd give it 5 stars but I'm still in shock!
