Origin
The Maipo Valley south of Santiago is the most famous wine region in Chile and is the source of some excellent Merlots. Santa Rita, having been founded in 1814, have employed their extensive experience in creating this excellent Merlot.
Taste
Deep ruby with violet hues. Aromas of ripe black fruit, plum and hints of vanilla and spice. Concentrated, plummy fruit with ripe tannins on the rich and balanced palate, with a persistent finish.
Enjoy
Incredibly versatile, this Merlot is delicious with pasta, casseroles, and even soft cheeses.
