Origin
Named for their position in South America's cone, Cono Sur has been producing wines since 1993. The 'Las Colmenas' come from low yielding vines in plot in the Casablanca Valley specially selected by vintner Adolfo Hurtado for its cold climate and clayish soils.
Taste
A perfumed and lifted nose of lychee violets, rose petals and lime. Mineral notes and spicy fruit flavours balance the full, rich body and low acidity levels result in a lingering, fruit-spice finish.
Enjoy
A great wine to enjoy over the next two years as an apéritif or with soft cheeses and salads. Do not partner with hot spices!

    Good, but not the best

    A good wine, very perfumed, but for me a little too many citrus flavours, prefer a slightly sweeter gerwurztraminer. Worked well though with both Chinese and some Goats Cheese

    Delicious

    I'm not a wine buff, but this wine has a very delicate perfumed taste, and is light and very drinkable... even if no time to chill. Will buy again.
