    A Revalation

I don't normally go for roses, but the helpful girl in my local branch persuaded me to give this one a go, and how glad I am she did! A delight with my smoked boar terrine.

Acid,Acid,Acid---no this is not nice apart from the lurid colour.

    Fresh, fruity and cheap

Pleasant everyday rose. Excellent value at less than a fiver. It is made in a modern, New World style. However it is nicely balanced, and avoids the overpowering fruit and alcohol that some Chilean rose falls down on.

    Not Bad

As a rose it is a dry & acidic wine however if you chill it down to 5c this is a very drinkable wine. let it breath for an hour before serving bung it in a caraffe in the fridge. i certainly enjoy it as i like acidity in a rose, but this is my own preference. some may think it a bit rough and ready. i had 6 bottles to play with when i caraffed it and chilled it all my guests polished it off before anything else.

    Great value Rose

A dry Rose but definitely not a nasty one - Nice enough, gluggable, entry level wine

    Disappointment

I bought two bottles of La Serrana Rosé as part of a mixed case for my birthday party last month and I was embarrassed to serve this to my guests. The heat from the alcohol dominated any faint hint of fruit aromas on the nose and the palate. I guess that's what you get for £3.98 a bottle!
