We keep coming back to this one. First tasted it in a Restaurant 7-8 years ago and loved it then at £20 a bottle. At today's prices it is fantastic value. Have just ordered stock for the summer as am sure it can never be this reasonable again.
a really drinkable wine with just the right flavour and dryness - great value
I normally select Southbank Estate SB, but thought I'd try Wither Hills as it's slightly cheaper at present. Very pleasantly surprised at the quality. Lovely with chicken or pasta dishes or just on its own. Highly recommended.
Nice balance, good flavours come through, not great depth. We bought Black Cottage at the same time, which had more depth and lingered longer, but was £8.99 Vs £5.99 so what can one expect?
Excellent value for money for a wine with this length of taste and flavour. So versatile for both drinking solo or with a variety of meals.
