Origin
Fruit grown in Vergelegen's own vineyards as well as from vineyards in the Elgin and Overberg regions. Grapes from Vergelegen's vineyard are planted on South and South-western slopes planted and 200-230 metres above sea level in granites or clay-based Clovelly soils.
Taste
A range of flavours are in abundance: gooseberries, figs, elderflower and clean cut grass to name a few. Perfectly balanced, with a racy acidity and mineral structure finishing elegantly and at length.
Enjoy
Enjoy over the next two years with pan fried fish, pork chops or scallops.
