Galets are the large pudding stones found in the Rhône valley which help store heat and provide excellent drainage. This Côtes-du-Rhône is blended to provide an accessible, early drinking style without being overly tannic or full bodied.
Taste
Showing gorgeous, succulent notes of red and black berry fruit flavours and a warming hint of spiciness. Soft and supple tannins contribute to a long and rounded finish.
Enjoy
Enjoy as a red to go with canapés or food at parties, or the spicy richness can match a range of red meat dishes.

    Top wine for the money

    I'm not sure why you wouldn't enjoy this wine. A soft and easily quaffed red from the Rhone with a pleasant aftertaste and very good with Lamb and roasts generally. Opened a bottle at Sunday lunch with friends last week who convinced me to open a second, they liked it so much. Its a clean tasting french wine (very important for me against all this syrupy and heavy third world stuff) that impresses - especially at a reasonable price. I'll order some more. Spot on Majestic!

    Excellent table wine

    I bought 6 bottles of the 2010; drank them, and enjoyed them. I have just taken delivery of 12 more (2010). An excellent table wine for everyday drinking with meals throughout the year.

    A very drinkable red at a reasonable price

    If you like a wine with a heavy flavour and bite don't buy this. If like me you appreciate a soft red with good fruit that is an easy drink, then buy this this whilst it is on offer. Let it warm and breath and breath and it will reward you. Goes well with most meats, cheeses or vegetarian dishes

    Good, everyday quaffer

    For the price (especially when on offer) this is a cracking wine - lots of spicy fruit. Yumm.
