Description

Marco Mantengoli makes modern Brunello and it is very good value. Deeply coloured it has hints of dark fruits, sweet oak and a slight tar/licorice note to it's nose. This has considerable volume on the palate, plush and rich. No shortage of ripe fruit here. Silky tannins and along fine finish. 2004 is a great vintage for La Rasina and this will drink well relatively young.' 90 points Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate. Part of our latest Fine Wine Parcel.
