Origin
Twenty years of experience has allowed Dourthe to identify the best locations in Bordeaux to produce Sauvignon Blanc. They have selected a diversity of terroirs, mainly in the north of the Bordeaux appellation.
Taste
Aromatic and concentrated, with fresh citrus combined with notes of passionfruit, a crisp acidity and lovely structure with a long and persistent finish.
Enjoy
A great apéritif, this is also good with salads and seafood.

Lovely Sauvignon, watch out New Zealand

I'm more of a New Zealand Sauvignon fan but saw the journalist's recommendations and gave it a try. This is great, really zingy and just what you need after a hard week's slog.

    BIg Brother

Have long been a fan of No.1 and tried this on offer. Needs to be quite cold, when it has a hint of phenolic underpinning the usual SB characteristics. Hidden depths, mushrooms, forest, almost heading towards a wimpy Chenin. Really good, but just where is the '09 ????????????????

    almost a kiwi...

definitely a kiwi bouquet with some powerful aromas that develop in the glass. Not quite that depth of zingy fruit and grassy notes in the taste that you get from New Zealand SB but pretty good for France

    Great white bordeaux.

Plenty of character in this bone dry white bordeaux. Quite a mouthful for the money. No hesitation - go for it!
