Vieux Château Certan 2007 Pomerol

On the nose this shows fresh, ripe, subtle notes of black-skinned fruit - dark cherry and plum with hints of dark chocolate. The palate is almost crunchy with wonderfully fresh fruit. Perfumed, elegant, black stone fruit flavours spread across the palate.

BriO de Cantenac Brown 2007 Margaux

Elegantly structured claret, with aromas of pencil lead and sandalwood, and a bramble backbone. A good level of ripeness, medium body, and tannins of a firm, taut character.

Pavillon de Poyferré 2007 St-Julien

Produced from young vines of second growth Leoville-Poyferre Pavillon, this has all the character and polish of the Grand Vin but does not require the patience.

Château Caronne Ste-Gemme 2006/2007 Haut-Médoc

This Cru Bourgeois represents excellent value for money. Slightly smoky on the palate, with ripe fruits, black pepper and subtle oak giving a well-rounded finish.

Les Tourelles de Longueville 2007 Pauillac

Whilst this wine may not be available from the Fine Wine Centre please check with your local store for availability. The wine is currently built around the plot of Sainte Anne, planted with a majority of Merlot. A deep, purple colour with an enticing nose of strawberry, blackcurrant and fresh roses. Silky tannins give a more 'ready-to-drink' style, packed with toasty vanilla notes and an unmistakable elegance.

Ségla 2007 Margaux

Ségla is the second wine of the famous Château Rauzan-Ségla. It is a wine with excellent concentration and poise. A great example of good value Margaux drinking well now.
