    Why buy champage?

Unless you are prepared to pay £30 plus for a decent champs I see no point in looking further than this biscuity lovely pop. I've tried lots of sparklers but this is head and shoulders above anything I have quaffed.

    Bit sharp

Frankly nothing like as good as Freixenet cava if you are spending this kind of money. Certainly not worth £12. Too acidic.

    Delightfully different

Tried this Fizz for the first time last Friday and was absolutely delighted. Subtle fruity tones made it a very refreshing change from the endlessly similar range of 'not Champagne' sparklers from Europe.

    Great Fizz

Never let's you down. Great fizz at less than half the price of a reasonable branded champagne.

    Used to be good

I have purchased the whole range of Lindauer sparklers over the past three and a half years. The quality has declined, with inconsistent flavour. It's a pity because this wine was of a fine standard for the price.

Staff Reviews

  • A fantastic value Champagne-buster

"Fresh, fruity aromas and touches of toast and brioche on the nose are followed up by refreshing citrus fruit flavours on the palate, which are in turn complemented by an elegant and smooth mousse. At less than £10 this is a fantastic value Champagne-buster, making it a great addition to your regular order or the perfect choice when you are entertaining large groups."

Press Reviews

  • "There’s no better sparkler at this price for chucking in the cool bag and I’m not ashamed to be recommending it again for the umpteenth time. With toast, yeast and citrus fruit it’s always a winner. "
