Origin
Avignonesi is a well-regarded winery in Tuscany, consisting of a group of four farms which each specialise in particular grape varieties. The grapes for this blend come from the 'Le Capezzine', 'La Selva' and 'La Lombarda' estates, each located at around 300m altitude.
Taste
A smooth and well-rounded red, with a food-friendly 'middleweight' feel, and the classic cherry-like Tuscan fruit, amid lush swathes of blackcurrant and damson flavours.
Enjoy
Partner with richly-textured meat dishes such as Moussaka.
