Penfolds Grange 2005/2006

Since its inaugural vintage in 1951, Grange has grown into a true icon of Australian winemaking. Huge weight and power, with a complex palate of chocolatey dark fruit and notes of rhubarb and fennel. Will age gracefully for over 20 years.

Now fully mature, this example of the excellent 1989 vintage shows excellent purity but is most noticeable for its perfume and silky texture. Absolutely at its peak. Drink now-2010.
