McHenry Hohnen Cabernet Merlot 2009/2010 Margaret River

Both the Cabernet and Merlot are clearly present in this wine. There are dark blackcurrant and black olive notes from the Cabernet with the plummy, brambly Merlot flavours softening the blend.

A deep and inky purple colour, the wine offers a nose of dark, lightly confected blackcurrant fruit, with subtly savoury notes of olives and green peppers. Round and juicy, with fine, soft tannins.
