Pinot Grigio

Origin
From the famous Marlborough region of New Zealand's South Island. Marlborough's vineyards are in the large flat river valley, on an array of different soils.
Taste
With fragrant aromas of passion fruit, pineapple and pear this wine is a delight for the senses. The palate has a complex medley of flavours including peach, apricot. Soft, fresh and extremely enjoyable.

    Unusual but delicious pinot grigio

This wine seems to have the same effect as Marmite on your reviewers - love it or hate it! It is nothing like any of the many pinot grigios I have tasted, as it has a much fuller more complex flavour, but I think it is delicious and at the discount price is a massive bargain. Guests who have been served it have been delighted, so I think most people would really enjoy this wine

    Big Disappointment

Impressive fruity and floral aromas but the flavour was boring.

    Suprised how good this was!

When we asked the guy in our local Leeds store if it was possible to get a Pinot Grigio at a lead-in price, he could not praise this wine highly enough. We were amazed by its fruitness and enjoy the complexity of flavours it delivers. And from New Zealand at this price? It is stunning value and we love it.

    Light and delicate

We found this to be a light and delicate wine with subtle flavours. Not a 'run of the mill' Pinot, the six bottles we bought went fast, so will look to add this again to our next order at this price

    Will keep watching with interest.

It wasn't what we expected from a Pinot Grigo but it had that particular taste that is special to NZ - Even if it's not the traditional Italian Grigio it was very palatable & deserves a good recommendation - ordered 2 cases. Will keep watching with interest.

    very unexpected flavours

We tried this after M' Hills' very drinkable Sauvignon. Expecting an Italian style pinot grigio, this wine's complex medley of flavours came as a shock to the senses rather than a delight and was hard to swallow. I would be interested in what others think.
