Grape

Sauvignon Blanc

Origin
From the famous Marlborough region of New Zealand's South Island. Marlborough's vineyards are in the large flat river valley, on an array of different soils.
Taste
Tropical citrus fruit aromas lead to a palate which bursts with lemongrass and limes. This is a very dry, crisp and zesty white wine.
Enjoy
Perfect to drink either on its own or with fresh salads and seafood.

    Surprisingly good!

Not the most powerful NZSB but it certainly compensated with fruit flavour. 'Easy drinking' would be an understatement - this goes down like lemonade! For the price, it was excellent, though without the depth & refinement of some of the alternatives within this range.

    Excellent value!

Lovely, rich Sav Blanc. Typically New Zealand. Floral and heavyweight with some steeley acidity.

Probably the best value NZ Sauvignon Blanc

We love our New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs and I think this has become our favourite (perhaps tied with Villa Maria). The grassy flavour is common with most of the Sauvignons from Marlborough and one of the reviewers is right that it's perhaps more pronounced in this one. Definitely not suitable with all fish but try with (something like) a tuna, lemon and chilli pasta and you'll think it's the second coming.

    Love it

We love this and so do our guests, it's great value when on offer and good with or without food. OK it's not the best Sauvignon Blanc you could ever have, but its price tag should tell you that. As an everyday drinker it's great!

    Too heavy

Not my favourite sauvignon blanc. Too strong in gooseberry and almost a vegetal undertone. Would probably work well with the right food but not right for a classic pairing with fish. Much prefer Wither Hills, Oyster Bay or Fairleigh if that helps you decide if this is right for you
