Origin
Gevrey-Chambertin was one of the first villages in the Côte de Nuits to establish itself as a viticultural hotspot. Its slopes of sparse, limestone-rich soils are known for producing Pinot Noir with good body and power.
Taste
Deep red in colour with complex aromas of black fruits, liquorice and leather with smoky undertones. Nice balance in the mouth with supple tannins. An elegant wine with a long finish.
Enjoy
A fine accompaniment to roasted guineafowl or pheasant with wild mushrooms.

    Light Bodied, Elegant & Smooth

    Although the cheapest in the Majestic range of Gevry Chambertin's - this Louis Latour bottle is incredibly smooth. quite fruity however and light in body so all in all a very drinkable wine for any occasion - fantastic with lamb and duck.
