This was a superb vintage on the left bank which produced some stunning wines displaying ripeness, complexity and real harmony. This 'super second' St-Estèphe property was no exception; with a nose of raspberry, scorched earth and black pepper. On the palate it displays lovely maturing spicy fruit, a rich multi-layered texture and very long length. Drink it over the next 10-12 years.
