"A rich and powerful bouquet of blueberries, violets, Maraschino cherries, sweet American oak, Christmas cake spice and gunsmoke, with beautiful undertones of rose petals. The palate delivers flavour by the truck load - dark cherries, Cocoa, sweet blueberries and vanilla are kept in balance by a wonderful savoury earthiness. Gobsmackingly gorgeous, the finish is immense - full flavoured and extraordinarily long. Fantastic stuff!"

"Offering a savoury nose of raspberries, violets, pepper, vanilla and grilled meats, this is an elegant Syrah from Qupe. It fills out in the mouth, with sweet berries and vanilla at the fore and grilled meats coming through on the elegant and warm finish. This wine will continue to evolve if left in the cellar for 4 to 5 years, but is drinking superbly now."
