Description

From the Nekeas Valley in northern Navarra, Izar means 'star' in the local language. Comprising of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% each of Tempranillo and Merlot, this wine is a tribute to the classic Atlantic style wines made from Bordeaux to Rioja Alta. Bodegas Nekeas is one of the best value wineries in the world according to Robert Parker and with a complex perfume of leather and minerals, the silky mouthfeel is nicely balanced with a good length to finish.
