Deep ruby red with purple hints and a complex and refined nose of red berry fruits married with notes of wood and spice - notably freshly ground black pepper. The palate boasts a nice balance of flavours with blackcurrant and redcurrant combined with spices and a hint of game and coffee. A beautiful structure with velvety tannins which would complement a beef tagine to perfection.
