"This has long been a favourite of mine. To me, the McRae Wood Shiraz is to Australia, what Forts de Latour is to Bordeaux. I was really impressed by this example, it's name means pinnacle and I agree, it will certainly stand toe to toe with any Rhônish wines at this price and is rich and spicy enough to complement warming winter food such as roasts."
