Springfield Special Cuvée Sauvignon Blanc

Springfield Special Cuvée Sauvignon Blanc 2007 Robertson

Fourth generation Bruwer family winemaker Abrie Bruwer employs minimal intervention both in the vineyards and the cellars to ensure that the true expression of the Sauvignon Blanc grapes is allowed to show through in this Special Cuvée wine. Distinct minerally undertones are covered with layers of luscious passion fruit flavours, together with classic Sauvignon flavours of gooseberry and citrus fruit. Zesty and fresh, this wine will develop and mellow in the bottle beautifully over the next three years.

"South Africa can produce some great Sauvignon Blanc, and this is the perfect example. Classic gooseberry and nettle aromas, zingy fruit on the palate and crisp, well-balanced acidity."
