Bodegas Marqués de Cáceres is situated in Cenicero, 20 kms from Logroño in Rioja Alta. A huge cellar of about 10 million bottles allows them to refrain from selling wines from poor vintages if quality levels are not reached.
Taste
A hugely aromatic wine expressing intense flavours of apples and pears with a light floral background. On the palate a freshness and vivacity comes through with an additional handful of lavish fruit.
Enjoy
Ideal served as an apéritif or a perfect accompaniment to fish and seafood.

    Value for money

    Majestic generally only carry a limited number of white Rioja's. Whilst this wine is often the cheaper of those on offer it does for me have offer a much longer finish than the alternatives.

    Value for money

    First tried this on a visit to Ibiza, but the one we tried was a Rose' !! The second time in the restraunt we tried the White and found this better than the rose' But if Majestic came up with the Rose' we would find ourselves having to order both!!! Sauvignon Blanc is our most favourite Rioja is a pleasant change.

    Good value

    The wife liked it and said it was not too sweet and that made me happy because at £5.99 there are not that may other white wines which seem to be better for that price level.

    Quite refreshing and not acidic in fact pleasantly smooth Medium quality white Rioja which is good at this price

    A top value white

    Well I just can't get enough of white rioja and this is the perfect example. Really fruity - loads of citrus, very crisp, very clean, but never too bitter or overly-zingy. Sauvignon blanc fans will love it (but it's much nicer than a sauvignon at this price).
