Central Otago is New Zealand's youngest and most dynamic wine region as this example from Quartz Reef's winemaker Rudi Bauer shows. A youthful, full-coloured Pinot with an aromatic bouquet of spices and herbs. Generous and vibrantly fruity, with rich plum and spice flavours and smooth, ripe tannins this is a wine to cellar, although it is seductive right now.
