The small 'workshop' set up in Valgatara in 1945 by its founder Michele Castellani has transformed itself into a state-of-the-art winery, managed today by Sergio Castellani and his family through all the wine making stages. Rich in colour, the nose displays redcurrant, liquorice, spice and underbrush. Full-bodied and harmonious, this will be a fantastic partner to heavy roasts and furred or feathered game of any kind.
