2004 was an excellent vintage in Tuscany, this historic estate produces this blend of 80% Sangiovese and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon from superb vineyard holdings in the heart of Chianti Classico. The wine is aged for 16-18 months in new French oak and is interantionally recognised as being one of the finest wines in the region. With an exciting, complex and fragrant nose of black olive, smoked tea, cherry and plum the palate is rich, powerful and multi-layered with a food loving rasp of acidity, great texture and a long length. It will drink well over the next 10-12 years.

Feel free to mix Fine Wines with “regular” wines to make up your order of 12 bottles (or more!) in total. However, at least 6 bottles must be Fine Wine products, because Fine Wines require special distribution from our temperature-controlled Fine Wine Centre in London.
