This wine was bought directly from the cellar which means it represents great value for money. It is a charming wine which is now fully mature and drinking beautifully. On the nose there is cassis, truffle and cedar whilst the palate is rich, round and refreshing with softening structure and great persistence.

Not a bad Medoc, but not a perticularly great one. Has some really nice subtle flavours in there that have obviously been brought out through ageing but nothing very powering. My guess is it started out as a fairly poor wine and had become acceptable with age. A good wine for general evening drinking.
