Origin
A small Pomerol estate now owned and managed by the Guiraud family, with 30-year-old Merlot and Cabernet Franc vines planted across a mix of sand, gravel and clay soils. Grapes are hand-harvested and the wine matured in oak casks for at least 12 months.
Taste
The wine is soft but robust, with a firm texture and dense blackcurrant fruit layered with spicy, savoury notes.
Enjoy
Nicely mature at present, this is a ready-to-drink Pomerol, great value for money.
