Chardonnay

Origin
The Chardonnay comes from several vineyards around the village of Argeliers, around 30km inland of the Mediterranean near Narbonne. Made from the first juices obtained after pressing, which are fermented with partial oak contact, and aged on their lees for 3 months.
Taste
An invitingly fruit-driven wine, with aromas of ripe apple and nectarine embellished with delicate notes of spring flowers. Generous on the palate, with soft acidity and a rounded texture.

Enjoy chilled, either on its own, or with your choice of fruits de mer.

    Probably the best £6.99 Chardonnay

    A real bargain at this price, this wine shows fantastic expression of the grape considering its southern heritage; clearly carefully and cleverly crafted by the vigneron. Plenty of fruit, not too much alcohol. A delight with most foods and with sufficient character to stand up to more robust pairings.

    Subtle buttery chardonnay

    Delicious - a perfect winter white wine without the overcooked aftertaste of the Aussie chardonnays. I'll have to buy another case to last over Christmas.
