Grape

Roussanne

Origin
The Roussanne grapes were picked overnight as it is the coolest time of day and protects the pure fruit flavours, hence the name 'La Nuit Blanche'. The direct translation means 'The White Night', but literally means 'The Sleepless Night'.
Taste
Fermentation and ageing in oak has led to a rich, full-bodied style. A striking golden yellow colour with exotic fruit aromas followed by fresh mandarin and nuts on the palate.
Enjoy
An award-winning wine that will partner well with Normandy pork with apple.

    missing some body and finish

it's not bad...but it leaves you feeling a bit hollow...not as good as the 2009 which was frankly amazing value. Get some of that instead if there is any left.

    A pleasant smooth wine

This is a nice smooth balanced wine. There is some fruit but it is not as over the top as some of the Sauvignon whites that can be a bit obvious like cheap perfume. Enjoyable and reasonable value for an evening tipple.
