Origin
Jean-Luc Colombo was a pioneering winemaker and consultant who, since the early 1980's, has been responsible for introducing many modern winemaking and viticultural techniques to the Rhône including organic farming methods and de-stemming.
Taste
Bright and youthful purple colour, with an unmistakable hint of wild thyme on the nose, complementing the raspberry and plum fruit. Ripe and sweet fruit are balanced by drying, grippy tannins.
Enjoy
Best served with a comforting casserole, or slow-cooked oxtail.

    delicious,ripe, full-bodied Cotes du Rhone

This is a wonderful find. Still young but definitely drinking now, a rich, fruity, full-bodied C du R. Scrumptious summer treats.

    boring

I was expecting at least a "great little wine" here, I found something very average. Hot alcohol, slightly thin and lacking concentration, oh well, you cant win them all. Majestic definitely has better basic Rhone than this.

    Quaffable French

Listed as organic this is not organic. Annoying as I bought for friends who were to visit and who are very 'organic'. But drinkable as on ordinary wine.

  • An excellent black cherry finish (2010 Vintage)

"Despite a gentle initial impression, it delivers excellent blackcurrant-centred acidity that develops into savoury liquorice flavours and an excellent black cherry finish. (Brian Elliott, Scotland on Sunday, 12th August 2012)"
