Origin
A Premier Cru from the Montagny appelation in Burgundy's Côte Chalonnaise. Cave de Vignerons de Buxy is an excellent, quality conscious producer and, being a co-operative, offers excellent value for money.
Taste
A delicious, fresh Chardonnay which has been fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks to preserve the pure peach, pear and acacia aromas. Soft and rich on the palate.
Enjoy
Enjoy with cold cuts of ham, this is a genuine bargain not to be missed.

    Good stuff

    Saw it presented on Saturday Kitchen and bought a case. Not wrong - excellent value for a very well bred Chardonnay. If you're looking for heavy oak and vanilla, keep away. This is a fresher style for feeding to the ABC crowd. Excellent fruit and well balanced acidity. Good colour and long legs. Best burgundy I've had at this price.

    Disappointing

    Given the other reviews, I was expecting a lot more from this. Bland, thin, with weak fruit and no richness or finish, I would never have known this was a 1er Cru Burgundy but for the label. A duff bottle? Possibly. But there are far better sub-£10 white Burgundies than this.

    best Budget white ? Probably

    real value for money and one of the best whites under £15 a bottle one of my favorites
