Origin
This is a top class wine from an up-and-coming Château. Blended with 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc from a 3.5 hectare site with vines averaging a healthy 25 years in age, it is then aged for 12 months in oak barrels.
Taste
Displaying enticing fruit cake and plum, the firm but integrated tannins leave a long and satisfying length. Some evidence of sweet spice is also noticable.
Enjoy
Still fairly youthful yet with a superb concentration of fruit, this wine is drinking well now but will soften over the next 3-4 years.

    A strong contender

    A good example and well worth a punt. Not quite the finished article but a strong 6/10. For the money however I think the La Croix Guillotin is a better bet.
